MEDEC, Canada’s medical technology association, has launched a campaign to highlight how medical technology can revitalise people’s lives and stem rising healthcare costs.

The Toronto-based association has drafted in an array of patients and doctors to illustrate how medical devices can have a positive impact on the lives of ordinary Canadians.

Ottawa (September 16) - Launched today at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Transforming Health Through Medical Technology is a compilation of stories of Canadian patients and physicians whose lives have been changed for the better thanks to innovative technologies and devices. The stories have been published in a book format and online at www.medec.org/vot.
